29th Birthday Spiel
One of the best things about my mom is the way she treats
our birthdays like national holidays.
She has ever since we were little and still does now, no matter how old
we are! That’s one of the reasons that
the entire week around my birthday is a holiday to me and the same goes for
Ryan (and our kids in the future). I am turning 29 tomorrow and you know how I
am, I’m always planning, so of course I’m spending the day before my 29th
birthday getting pumped for my golden birthday next year—HA!
Anywho, on Saturday, Ryan and I spent the day together which
was all I wanted as a gift. My love
languages are probably all of the love languages—but especially gifts and
quality time! We walked around old town and it was a gorgeous 60 degree
day. We then had dinner with his aunt,
uncle, and cousins which is always a blast. Afterwards, we had an early
birthday celebration with two friends of ours drinking WAY too much tequila.
Literally, a perfect birthday celebration! Now, all I need are some donuts!
If you don’t already treat you and your family’s birthdays
like national holidays, I highly recommend it!
It makes like SO SO SO much
more fun!
